Food & Drink at the Bull and Butcher
After seven years of owning and running the Bull & Butcher, James and his team recognised just how popular their Pie of the Day had become and decided to specialise in homemade pies. Today, the pub serves a range of classic flavours, including Steak & Ale, Chicken & Mushroom, Venison & Bacon, Lamb & Mint, and a Vegan Quorn, Leek & Mushroom pie.
Guests can choose between a traditional fully encased pie made with homemade melt-in-the-mouth shortcrust pastry or a lighter option topped with a crisp puff pastry lid.
Families are warmly welcomed, with a selection of tasty dishes created especially for children. We also offer a variety of gluten-free and dairy-free options, ensuring everyone can enjoy relaxed dining in the heart of the Chiltern Hills.
Don’t miss our famous Sunday menu, where succulent roasts are served with golden, crispy potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and lashings of rich gravy. Of course, no visit is complete without one of our indulgent desserts, from creamy classics to sweet seasonal treats, guaranteed to satisfy every craving.
